Seats determine which users have access to a specific part of your NIXZ subscription. This is useful when your subscription has a fixed number of user seats and you want to manage who uses them.
You can manage seats when you have the right admin permissions for your NIXZ environment.
Where to find this
Open the menu under your name in the top right corner and click Billing.
In the Subscriptions section, you can see your active subscriptions. If a subscription has seats, a button with the number of seats appears next to the subscription name.
Click this button to open Manage seats.
Reviewing seats
In Manage seats, you can see how many seats are assigned and how many seats are still available.
- Assigned: the number of seats already linked to users.
- Available: the number of seats still free.
- Assigned seats: the users currently using a seat.
Assigning a seat
- Open Billing.
- Click the seats button for the subscription.
- Select a user under Assign seat to user.
- Click Assign seat.
You can only select users who do not already have a seat for this subscription.
Releasing a seat
If you want to give a seat to someone else, first remove the current assignment with the trash icon next to the user.
The seat then becomes available again, and you can assign it to another user.
If you cannot select a user
If no users are shown in the list, there are no remaining users without a seat.
First add a user through Team management, or remove an existing seat assignment.
