Besides the NIXZ web application, embedded ATS views, and direct ATS integrations, vacancy data can also be made available through an API. This is especially relevant when you want to build your own technical integration or process vacancy data in your own system.
API integration is intended for technical teams and is aligned to the available feed, the required fields, and the way the data will be processed.
When to use the API
An API integration can be useful when:
- you want to use vacancy data in your own custom system;
- you want to publish vacancies automatically on your own website;
- you want more control over processing and storage;
- you already have an integration layer in place;
- you have technical requirements that fall outside a standard ATS integration.
For most customers, an ATS or CRM integration managed by NIXZ is more practical. In that setup, NIXZ handles onboarding, field mapping, and delivery to the ATS.
What you align in advance
For an API integration, we agree in advance on:
- which sources or feeds should be available;
- which fields you need;
- which format and authentication method will be used;
- how often you will retrieve or process the data;
- how updates, closing dates, and source information should be handled.
