Use a campaign when you want to approach a selected group of candidates in a structured way. A campaign helps you set up messages, timing, and follow-up in one consistent flow.
Only create a campaign once you know which candidates you want to approach and what kind of flow fits that goal. For example, you might start with an email, follow up with a LinkedIn message, and add another follow-up step a few days later.
Where to find it
Open Campaigns in the main menu on the left.
From the campaign overview, create a new campaign. In some environments, the interface may still use the button label New sequence.
What you set up when creating a campaign
When creating a campaign, you choose the campaign name and an optional related vacancy. After that, you configure the audience and steps in the campaign builder.
You also decide:
- what type of candidates the campaign is meant for;
- how candidates enter the campaign;
- which steps you want to use.
Choose the audience
Under Audience, choose where candidates come from. You can add candidates manually, use a LinkedIn search, or let candidates enter from a LinkedIn Recruiter project.
The selected source determines which candidates enter the queue. Candidates are processed in the order in which they were added. Check the source and displayed candidate count before activating the campaign.
Using the related vacancy
When creating a campaign, you can optionally choose a related vacancy. If you create a campaign from a candidate search based on a selected vacancy, that vacancy is usually already filled in for you automatically.
That related vacancy is especially useful when you use AI features inside the campaign to generate messages. NIXZ can then use the vacancy context in the prompt, so your message aligns better with the role.
How to build a campaign
A good campaign starts with a clear intention. First decide what you want to achieve: make an introduction, test interest, follow up on a vacancy, or continue a previous selection.
Then add the right steps. In many cases, you start with E-mail or LinkedIn message. After that, you define the content, order, and timing of the campaign.
Use the step overview to move between the audience and the different actions. The plus buttons let you add a step at the required position. The order in this overview is also the order in which NIXZ executes the steps.
Changes are saved automatically. The save status at the top of the builder shows whether the latest changes have been processed. When you open the builder for the first time, contextual tips may point out its main parts.
What to keep in mind
Do not make campaigns too generic. A campaign usually works better when the target group, message, and context clearly fit together.
See a campaign as a fixed outreach flow for a specific selection of candidates. Build the campaign carefully first. Only add candidates and activate it once the content, timing, and sending settings are correct.
