Use a LinkedIn connection request to invite candidates outside your network. Add a LinkedIn message afterwards when you only want to approach accepted or existing connections.
By configuring both actions as separate steps, NIXZ automatically determines when a candidate is ready for the follow-up message.
Add a connection request
Open the campaign builder and add a LinkedIn connection request at the required position. Select the connected LinkedIn account and configure the send moment.
Optionally add a short, personal note. Keep within the character limit for the connected account and invitation type. Use the preview to check personalization and variables.
Add a follow-up message
Add a LinkedIn message after the connection request. Choose the recipients:
- Connected through this campaign to approach only candidates who accepted the earlier request;
- Existing connections for candidates who were already connected before the campaign;
- All connections when both groups may receive the message.
For a flow with new contacts, you will normally choose Connected through this campaign. The candidate then only continues after accepting the connection request.
Timing and daily limits
The delay before the follow-up message is part of the campaign schedule. Leave enough time between the invitation and the next contact moment.
NIXZ sends a maximum of 30 LinkedIn messages per connected LinkedIn account each day. The builder shows how many messages are still available that day. Once the limit is reached, each candidate keeps their position in the queue and the remaining execution is postponed.
When a step does not continue
A LinkedIn step may be blocked when the account or recipient is invalid, an invitation has already been sent, or a message or invitation limit has been reached. The campaign shows the cause so you can determine whether the account, candidate, or step needs to be adjusted.
Before activating the campaign, always check the selected account, recipient group, message, and preview.
