The audience determines which candidates enter a campaign. Choose a source that fits the selection you want to approach. You can add candidates manually, use a LinkedIn search, or let candidates enter from a LinkedIn Recruiter project.
Where to find it
Open a campaign in the campaign builder and select Audience in the step overview. Under Source, choose how candidates are added to the campaign.
Manually added candidates
Choose Manually added candidates when you want to decide who enters the campaign. This works well for a selection from Search, Shortlist, or Candidates.
Candidates only enter after you deliberately add them. This option gives you the most control and is useful for smaller or carefully reviewed audiences.
Use a LinkedIn search
Choose LinkedIn search to use a LinkedIn Search URL as the source.
- Select the connected LinkedIn account that can access the search.
- Paste a valid URL from LinkedIn search results.
- Check the search and displayed candidate count.
NIXZ checks whether the URL can be used. A regular profile or home page is not a valid search URL. Enable Keep adding new candidates automatically when candidates who appear in the source later should also be added to the active campaign.
Use a LinkedIn Recruiter project
Choose LinkedIn project to approach candidates from an existing Recruiter project. This requires a connected LinkedIn Recruiter account.
First select the account and then the required project. NIXZ shows how many candidates the project contains. If projects are temporarily unavailable, open the list again to retry loading them.
Order and saving
Candidates are processed in the order in which they are added to the campaign. The first candidate added is therefore also the first in the queue.
Save the audience and, before activating the campaign, always check the selected source, account, candidate count, and automatic inflow setting. This prevents a campaign from starting with the wrong or an overly broad selection.
